A scheduled light fixture is supported within a heavy-duty metal grid suspension system of main runners and cross tees. Each corner of the light fixture is secured with a number 12 gauge hanger wire independent of the ceiling support system. Additional number 12 gauge hanger wires are spaced at 4 feet on center throughout the grid. Slack wires provide seismic restraint. Fixture clamps are installed at a maximum of 3 inches from the fixture corners, with one clamp required per side per fixture.
