A 1-1/2 inch diameter metal handrail extends past the stair nosing by a minimum of one foot, field painted per interiors. The handrail height maintains 34 inches minimum to 38 inches maximum above the stair treads and risers. The handrail return or termination aligns with the tread depth with an 11-inch minimum requirement.
