A C12x20.7 galvanized steel channel stair stringer bears onto a galvanized angle welded with a one-quarter inch fillet weld and anchored to a continuous thickened concrete slab footing with a three-quarter inch diameter expansion bolt. The footing measures one foot six inches wide and one foot deep with three inches of concrete clearance, reinforced with two continuous number five rebars. The surrounding slab on grade is constructed per plan details. Actual stairs are specified to be pre-engineered by the steel fabricator.
