A galvanized metal plate or channel stair stringer supports metal pan steel treads or concrete-filled steel pan treads. The railing incorporates a one and one-half inch outer diameter tube and a one and one-half inch pipe rail, secured with a bolted stair connection using a steel angle. Code compliance is maintained by ensuring a four-inch diameter sphere cannot pass through the lower rail openings and a four and three-eighths inch diameter sphere cannot pass through the upper openings. Vertical dimensions specify a three-foot zero-inch height to the upper rail, a three-foot six-inch overall height, a twenty-seven-inch maximum clearance, and a one-foot zero-inch minimum offset.
