The tactile exit sign features sans-serif uppercase characters raised one-thirty-second of an inch alongside corresponding Grade 2 Braille per local accessibility standards. Characters and background maintain a non-glare finish with contrasting colors distinctly different from the wall surface. The standard color scheme specifies white text on a blue background unless approved otherwise. Vertical spacing dimensions require a minimum three-eighths inch clearance around the Braille text and a five-eighths inch minimum to two-inch maximum height for the main exit lettering.
