The suspended lay-in tile system utilizes main runners spaced at forty-eight inches on center. Each main runner is supported by a number twelve gauge vertical hanger wire extending to the underside of the structure above. The wire connection requires a minimum of four turns at the termination point. A vertical clearance of one and one-half inches is maintained at the runner connection.
