An HSS post supports an HSS beam detailed per the framing plan, carrying a metal deck secured with Teks screws according to roof metal deck notes. A steel channel terminates the edge of the assembly, connected with a 3/16 inch weld. The HSS post anchors into a concrete foundation shown with embedded hooked reinforcing dowels.
