A standard corner and wall intersection features wood blocking anchored behind casework sides and doors, maintaining a minimum three-inch dimension at the returns. A separate isometric detail includes a typical desktop cable grommet comprising a plastic sleeve through the countertop and a removable plastic insert with a cord cutout, set one and one-half inches deep typically. The architect selects the insert from the manufacturer's full range of colors, and the grommet is located in the field per the direction of the desktop computer installer.
