The fence assembly consists of ASTM A-36 galvanized steel terminal posts measuring 4 inches by 4 inches by 11 gauge spaced at 8 feet on center with welded caps, connected to 2-inch by 2-inch by 14 gauge tubular steel channels and square 16 gauge pickets welded at 6 inches on center. The fence bears on a cast-in-place concrete mow curb and a concrete footing on compacted subgrade. The exterior concrete stair features poured-in-place concrete stairs and landings with a light broom finish, a 1 1/2-inch diameter steel handrail, and treads set at an 11-inch maximum projection with a 5-foot 6-inch clear width.
