This assembly details the installation of a main roof drain and an adjacent overflow roof drain within a roof system. The roof assembly features tapered insulation sloped at one-half inch per foot, transitioning to a sump pan for metal decks. The drain bowls are secured to the roof opening framing with deck clamps and receiver pans. The roofing membrane is extended into the drain bowl and bedded in sealant, with vapor retarders sealed to the drain bowl flange. Drain extension rings are utilized to accommodate the total thickness of the roofing system, topped with drain strainers, including an overflow collar for the secondary drain. Drainage piping is coordinated with plumbing drawings, and spray foam insulation is applied at the perimeter of the drain assembly.
