A hollow metal door frame sits beneath a CMU wall and reinforced CMU lintel. Shims level the frame head in the rough opening. Three-eighths inch sealant with a backer rod is applied to both sides of the frame head. The hollow metal frame profile dimensions are indicated with specific clearances.
