This multi-ply built-up roofing assembly is installed over a Structural I wood sheathing deck. The system starts with a fiberglass base sheet mechanically fastened to the deck per FM 90 requirements using a staple and tape fastener system. Two plies of fiberglass ply sheet are adhered above the base sheet with continuous asphalt moppings. The assembly is finished with a mineral-surfaced fiberglass cap sheet, or a CR cap when required. The staple and tape attachment system requires staples spaced at nine inches on center, with specific row counts for field, perimeter, and corner zones.
