An exterior wall junction consists of concrete masonry units coated with elastomeric coating on the interior face and clad with exterior aluminum panels. A fiberglass sub-girt supports the cladding assembly over four-inch insulation. Joints between panels and adjacent construction are sealed with a sealant and backer rod. A minimum six-inch air or insulation barrier component is detailed at the corner transition.
