An exterior steel stair assembly spans from a concrete foundation up to Level 1 at 100'-0", utilizing channel stringers and a landing of MC 12"x10.6 steel channels with a galvanized finish. Treads and landings consist of 1 1/4" by 3/16" flat bar grating with a galvanized finish, supported by a 2-1/2" diameter standard pipe column also finished in galvanized coating. The guardrail and handrail system is constructed from 1 1/4" standard pipe with rounded edges and smoothed surfaces, featuring 1" diameter horizontal balusters spaced to prevent the passage of a 4" sphere. The stair connects down to a concrete slab on grade and a continuous concrete footing with top of footing at 94'-6".
