Cold-formed steel partition header framing is constructed with continuous top and bottom tracks and metal studs connected by number eight screws at twelve inches on center. A header size chart provides span-based member selections ranging from single and double studs to built-up headers for spans between four feet and sixteen feet. Openings feature back-to-back studs with number eight screws at twelve inches on center and attached tracks secured to studs with number eight screws at eighteen mil studs. Closure studs are required at opening jambs. Continuous bottom tracks are anchored to concrete slabs with zero point one eight zero inch power driven shot pins at sixteen inches on center unless noted otherwise.
