An interior partition wall assembly is framed with cold-formed metal studs and lined on both sides with multiple layers of gypsum wallboard over resilient channels. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the cavity between the framing members. The double-layer gypsum board finish is applied to each face to provide enhanced acoustic separation.
