The elevator door threshold aligns with the finished floor elevation, featuring a one-quarter-inch high mill aluminum saddle threshold similar to Pemko 2748 aligned with the face of the jamb. A continuous embed plate and a painted galvanized steel angle secure the assembly to the concrete slab, with sizes verified against the elevator manufacturer requirements. Below the slab edge, backer rod and sealant seal the partition junction, which is finished with a sixteen gauge galvanized steel cover plate.
