A channel stringer connects to a support using a quarter-inch thick plate secured with three three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolts and three-sixteenth-inch welds. The channel stringer size is sized per plan, and finishes are determined by the architectural plan. Exact bolt spacing and edge distances are explicitly dimensioned on the connection plate.
