A recessed wall assembly detail frames a 42-inch or 55-inch flat panel display with mounting kit supplied by the tenant and installed by the general contractor. The backing consists of three-quarter-inch fire-retardant treated plywood secured within a scheduled partition built with two-and-a-half-inch steel channels. Specified conduit and electric or data junction boxes are coordinated with the audio-visual vendor per engineering drawings. Maximum four-inch dimensional limits govern the recess layout relative to the building envelope.
