The storefront system sill framing rests on sill framing sized per structural requirements with a metal plate storefront support. A sill flashing is bedded in a continuous sealant bead over the water-resistive barrier, while sam sill flashing and metal sill flashing lap up the interior leg. Continuous sealant is applied between the top of the interior leg and the storefront system. Exterior horizontal metal cladding is secured over horizontal metal furring and C-metal per manufacturer specifications using manufacturer-approved fasteners. A backer rod and sealant joint seals the exterior interface, and gypsum wallboard returns to the storefront jamb with a sealant joint.
