An aluminum door frame system is installed within a framed partition with a double stud at the jamb and a lintel overhead sized per the structural schedule. Aluminum snap-on trim finishes both sides of the frame junction. A continuous sealant bead is applied at the frame perimeter on both sides. The door leaf is installed as scheduled.
