A cold-formed steel 400JS250-54 sixteen gauge jamb stud connects to a continuous track at a floor opening. Two number ten sheet metal screws secure each side of the jamb framing to the track. Pre-applied damping or acoustic material (P.A.D.) is positioned beneath the track bearing against the floor slab.
