This partition T-intersection consists of a primary wall assembly meeting a perpendicular partition, both framed with light-gauge steel studs. The primary wall includes a continuous vapor barrier that wraps around the stud framing at the intersection point to maintain the building envelope's integrity. Thermal insulation is installed within the stud cavities of both partitions. The assembly is designed to comply with Underwriters Laboratories design number U419, with additional information regarding the vapor barrier installation referenced on sheet A-61005.
