An aluminum entry door features a half-inch high aluminum threshold set in mastic with a maximum 1-to-2 bevel of one-quarter inch minimum height, bearing above a half-inch expansion joint material and an interior concrete slab. The exterior concrete walk slopes at a maximum of two percent away from the threshold. A weather seal is provided at the head and sill, alongside a stop and weatherstrip typically. The aluminum transom sill and jamb assembly accommodates glazing per specifications where it occurs, and an aluminum entry door per the door schedule and specifications.
