An interior partition wall assembly consists of gypsum wallboard mounted on framing with internal batt insulation, finished with paint or specialized wall panels. Fiber reinforced plastic panels are glued directly to the gypsum wallboard surface. Aluminum edge molding trims the transition points of the panel finishes per interior elevations. A resilient base is installed at the wall base over the lower gypsum wallboard finish.
