A cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter profile is detailed with a trowled finish and tooled one-half inch radius edges. One-inch diameter Schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride weep holes are spaced at eight feet zero inches on center, sloped at a minimum of one inch down from the back of the curb to a crushed rock pit. The gutter features a one-inch radius at the flow line and a three-eighths inch lip, transitioning to either asphalt concrete or concrete paving per civil drawings. Expansion joints measuring one-half inch are required at sixteen feet zero inches on center maximum and at curve tangents and corners. The subbase rests on natural grade with a finish grade of one inch at sod and one and one-half inches at ground cover, maintaining an eighteen-inch minimum depth.
