A protective downspout guard assembly mounts over a factory pre-finished 24-gauge downspout. The guard consists of a quarter-inch bent plate welded to a quarter-inch steel channel, secured to the wall using stainless steel plug anchors and painted. The downspout terminates at an adapter boot connecting to a concrete truck court slab with an optional PVC pipe option adhered to the storm drain connection. All sheet metal flashings and trim are installed in accordance with SMACNA standards.
