A roof curb flashing assembly utilizes a continuous sheet of reinforced membrane wrapped around the curb and secured with bonding adhesive. Rigid insulation is laid beneath the membrane layer, anchored using seam fastening plates spaced twelve inches on center. A metal cap or counter flashing is installed at the top of the curb per manufacturer specifications. Cut-edge sealant is applied along membrane edges, and the membrane is creased at angle changes to limit bridging to a maximum of three-quarters of an inch. Outside corners are constructed per specific manufacturer details.
