A window sill transition rests directly on concrete flatwork with an adjacent continuous expansion joint. Galvanized sheet metal pan flashing supports the new window assembly and laps over the underlying waterproofing membrane. The expansion joint is detailed with joint filler material and provided with sealant at the top. The wall construction extends upward with a marked line of wall beyond.
