A 22-gauge galvanized iron downspout is secured to the building exterior with horizontal strapping fastened by half-inch by two-inch expansion bolts, with a minimum of one bolt at the top and bottom per manufacturer specifications. The downspout is painted to match the building color. Drain size is determined per plumbing drawings, and sizing charts govern opening and overflow dimensions.
