An extruded aluminum door frame with an integral overhead sliding door track for a CR Laurence 487 series medium stile aluminum frame door header sits beneath a scheduled partition wall. A box header is provided as required within the partition framing above a one-and-a-half-inch space. A one-quarter-inch shim is placed between the partition and the frame head. Continuous acoustical sealant with a backer rod is applied to all sides at the partition and frame junction.
