A metal stud partition head and track assembly at wall openings features cold-formed steel tracks and framing members. Openings under four feet use a standard bottom track, while openings between four feet and twelve feet incorporate two six-inch twenty-gauge metal studs. The partition framing is enclosed with gypsum wallboard on both sides.
