A commercial floor drain or clean-out is set into a concrete substrate with a minimum compressive strength of 2,500 pounds per square inch, with the drain housing positioned exactly one-quarter inch above the substrate. The surrounding floor consists of RTF-4 slip-resistant safety flooring adhered with Eco-Grip epoxy adhesive. A sixteen-gauge, two-inch-wide stainless steel collar is set into the routed flooring to match the finished floor surface. One-and-a-half-inch Phillips number ten stainless steel screws with lead anchors secure the collar to the concrete substrate. Eco-Grip sealant is applied between the stainless steel drain collar and the safety flooring.
