The assembly bears on a concrete structural slab with a concrete topping slab, supporting a wall framed per plan with a half-inch cementitious backer board and porcelain tile adhered via a tile bond coat. A continuous sheet metal angle anchors the transition, framed with aluminum tile trim pieces measuring three-eighths of an inch and one-quarter of an inch. The floor finish consists of a terrazzo floor and cove base installed over a moisture barrier with a crack suppression membrane and a one-eighth-inch divider strip.
