A new air handling unit pipe support extends through an existing ballasted single-ply membrane roofing assembly, rigid insulation, half-inch exterior gypsum board sheathing, and a metal deck. The roof assembly is supported by an existing steel beam requiring structural stiffening, with new spray fireproofing applied to the metal deck and steel beam to maintain the UL P701 listing. A sheet metal counter flashing and sheet metal flashing wrap the pipe penetration, secured with sealant at joints to maintain weatherproofing integrity. Fireproofing is patched and repaired as required per structural drawings.
