This stair tread assembly consists of two layers of five-eighths-inch plywood topped with a one-quarter-inch solid wood finish and a clear sealer. The exposed plywood grain nosing features a one-eighth-inch radius edge detail. The tread is supported underneath by a raw carbon steel riser.
