A painted steel stringer and matching stair guardrail terminate at an intermediate concrete landing slab designated as Conc-2. The assembly bears on a four-by-four-by-five-sixteenth-inch painted steel angle welded to an embed plate at each end. The concrete landing finishes flush with the top of the support angle.
