A cast-in-place concrete exterior stair and landing assembly is founded on grade. The slab and stair run are reinforced with number three bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way, maintaining a five-inch minimum thickness at the landing and four-inch minimum at the treads. A number three reinforcing bar is placed typically at each stair nosing. The footings extend twelve inches minimum below grade with three inches of clear cover, resting on backfill placed per the soils report.
