A precast concrete support section features a bench slat fastened with a continuous angle bracket and waterproof sealant. An L.E.D. light fixture is mounted beneath the bench, fed by wiring routed through a cast-in sleeve and conduit void inside the precast member. The precast support is anchored to a cast-in-place concrete footing using three-quarter inch by six-inch epoxy-set stainless steel pins. The assembly sits adjacent to unit paving over a sand setting bed, sub-base material, and compacted subgrade.
