This section detail shows a flexible roof walkway pad installed over treated smooth exterior grade plywood sheathing at high-traffic roof areas such as crossover ladders and roof access hatches. The treated plywood sheathing replaces the typical cover board below the walkway pads in these specific zones. A continuous roof membrane runs above the plywood sheathing, and wire mesh is provided as required for electronic vector mapping (EFVM) testing.
