A turned down concrete slab edge measures two feet in depth and one foot in width with a three-inch clearance. The edge is reinforced with number four continuous horizontal bars and number four vertical bars spaced at twenty-four inches on center with six-inch hooked ends. Two continuous number four epoxy-coated bars extend four inches into the panel where applicable, while top reinforcing laps into the typical slab reinforcing.
