A hollow structural section 2x2x1/4 top rail and matching vertical posts at a maximum spacing of 4'-0" anchor to the edge of a floor assembly. Three intermediate 1 1/2-inch outer diameter by 0.120-inch pipe members run horizontally through the posts with alternate 1/2-inch diameter steel cables. The posts connect to a 1'-1"x6"x1/2" plate located on each side of the structural steel W18 or W24 beam supporting the metal deck. Fillet welds of 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch size secure the steel connections.
