This wall section details the exterior glazing system transition at a glass fiber reinforced concrete sill ledge supported by a structural steel beam and composite concrete and metal deck floor slab. A stainless steel sill pan flashing is set in a continuous sealant bed beneath the glazing assembly, complete with continuous backer rod and joint sealant. The precast glass fiber reinforced concrete sill slopes toward the exterior with a minimum one-quarter inch slope for positive drainage. R-30 batt insulation is installed beneath the floor deck, and R-19 batt insulation is placed within the exterior wall cavity behind the glass fiber reinforced concrete panel.
