The aluminum storefront sill member bears directly on the tilt-up concrete wall panel. A shim space is provided beneath the sill frame as needed for leveling and alignment. A continuous sealant bead is applied at the exterior and interior joints between the aluminum frame and the concrete surface to maintain weather tightness.
