A parapet assembly finished with a metal panel coping sloped at one-quarter inch per foot toward the exterior. The exterior build-up consists of one-and-three-eighths-inch metal panels fastened to five-eighths-inch horizontal subgirts over one-half-inch sheathing and two-and-one-half-inch rigid insulation. A vapor-permeable liquid-applied air barrier coats the exterior face of the eight-inch steel studs, which are infilled with three-and-one-half-inch batt insulation.
