This interior partition wall assembly consists of eight-inch cold-formed metal stud framing filled with sound attenuation batt insulation. Each side of the framing receives a half-inch backer board layer followed by five-inch gypsum wall board panels. Final surface treatments are applied according to the interior elevations and finish schedule. Stud spacing is determined by the structural drawings.
