This assembly consists of a three-eighths inch thick bent steel plate jamb guard secured to the wall structure with one-half inch diameter wedge anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The guard extends to a height of four feet above the finished floor and is finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel. A three-inch heavy-duty track for the insulated steel sectional door is positioned adjacent to the guard. A weather seal is applied around the perimeter of the door, and the dead bolt latch is located six inches above the top of the jamb guard.
