This interior partition detail shows a painted hollow metal frame flanked by painted wood trim and gypsum board layers. Fire blocking is installed within the stud cavity adjacent to the frame. A sealant bead is applied at the perimeter of the frame and matched to the frame paint color. The partition framing is sized per schedule and references sheet A3.03 for track and stud notes.
