A c-channel track connects to double king studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with standard framing components. A straight clip secures the track using two number ten screws into the adjacent stud. The channel tab is trimmed and bent in the field as required during installation. Framing studs run continuously alongside standard wall construction elements.
