A six-inch PVC tube with a glued-in PVC end cap is mounted vertically to a wall using typical metal straps. The tube is backed by three-quarter-inch by two-inch plywood screwed to two-by-four blocking and painted to match the wall. A loose PVC cap closes the top, while a quarter-inch thru-bolt with an end toggle secures the upper assembly. An owner-furnished clear label is affixed to the tube with mandatory project storage text.
